In celebration of an upcoming rosy-colored festivity, we will create intricate textiles by utilizing floral, herbal, and food scraps. In this workshop, we will move through a methodical process in transforming plant matter into cosmic prints, patterns, and romantic colors onto natural fibers for common home or body decor pieces, such as cloth napkins, hanker chiefs, tea towels, bandannas, or wall hangings.
You will take home a guide to dyeing with food and floral scraps as well as your very own eco printed silk scarf.
No experience is needed in order to attend.
All supplies are included in the workshop fee.
Hosted by Studio 141 and taught by Coco Villa.
