We will create intricate textiles by utilizing floral and food scraps from our neighbors. In this workshop, we will move through a methodical process in transforming floral waste into beautiful prints, patterns, and colors onto natural fibers for common home or body decor pieces, such as cloth napkins, hanker chiefs, tea towels, and wall hangings.
You will take home a guide to dyeing with food and floral scraps as well as your very own eco printed cotton bandanna.
No experience is needed in order to attend.
All supplies are included in the workshop fee.
Hosted by Stems Brooklyn.
Taught by Coco Villa.
